@@Celticninja011 try getting some frozen blood worms you could try hatching some brine shrimp eggs out it's pretty simple if you have an aerator and can cut a plastic too little bottle open and glue an air tube into the lid and seal it tight hang it upside down put about 2 tablespoons of salt in it anything that's non-iodized will work better and if it's in a good warm room you won't need a heater but they'll hatch out within 24 to 30 6 hours then turn your air pump off eggshells will float to the top brown shrimp will go to the bottom a flashlight pointed towards the bottom helps disconnect your air tube from your air pump and hold it lower than the surface of the water in the container and you will have some liquid gold which is brine shrimp you can feed directly to your fish including the salt solution they are in it will not be enough to hurt your tank a few times however this can build up but with water changes it will take care of it or you can strain yours out with a homemade sieve with pantyhose or a coffee filter and rinse them with some of your tank water and then dip the coffee filter or pantyhose in and they will fall off in your fish will go nuts over them but at the same time you want to introduce crushed up flake food they will eventually realize it's food and start eating it as well

Instead of growing from spores, spend $11 at Amazon and get 10cc of liquid mycelium culture. Puts you way ahead. But I do understand the fun of doing it this way. PS, the music is too loud relative to the voice.

You can use Mosquito Bits or Mosquito Dunks. They contain Bti, which will kill larvae for fungus gnats. To use it, put some bits or dunks in your watering can the day before and let the bits/dunk soak. This will fill the water with Bti. Use it once every week and your fungus gnats will be gone!
